Recipe for Friendship

2 cups of patience
1 heart full of love
2 handfuls of generosity
2 cups of loyalty
1 cup of understanding
A dash of laughter

Mix all ingredients well. Sprinkle generously over a lifetime
and serve everyone you meet.

Over the last decade or so I have had the privilege to meet some truly wonderful
and special people through my love of Westies.

Whether in person, email or phone, I have had so much fun getting
to know so many caring people.

In happy and sad times, we have shared lots of laughter ...
and too many tears.

There are those who unselfishly have spent so much time sharing their wealth
of experience and knowledge with myself and countless others.

And of course, there are the Westie Angels, who give so much of their lives
to save and help those precious little Westies in need.
There's a very special place in heaven and at Rainbow Bridge just for you.

For all that and so much more, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

And so, in honour of all all you very special people,
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all just how much your
friendship, caring and love for this wonderful breed has meant to me.

Below is a poem that sums up my feelings of friendship. I hope you enjoy it.
